Toby Emerson

Owner/Operator/Funeral Director/Embalmer

In addition to being a Funeral Director and Embalmer, Toby is the owner of Emerson Ambulance Service and is the Craighead County Coroner.

Lisa Emerson

Office Manager

Lisa is a licensed funeral director and office manager for Emerson Funeral Home. Before working for the funeral home, she worked in many positions in the banking business beginning in 1978. She ended her banking career in 1998, while working as the branch manager for Union Planters Bank. She resides in Jonesboro with her husband Toby and their basset hound, Oliver.

Amanda Emerson-Fahlberg

Funeral Director

Amanda has worked full time with Emerson Funeral Home since 2009. She resides in Jonesboro, with her husband Zach and their two boys, Bryce and Slade.

Carmen Wildy

Funeral Director

Carmen Wildy has been employed by Emerson Funeral Home since 1997, as a licensed funeral director, she also works in the office filing insurance claims, veterans benefits, death certificates, at-need files, and Emerson Burial Association. Carmen has one son Ethan Green and they reside in Jonesboro. Carmen and her son attend the Christian Valley Church.

Milton Wayne Harbison

Funeral Director

Milton has worked as a funeral director for Emerson's since 2000. He is also our resident bugler for playing taps at our veterans services. In addition to his duties as a funeral director, he also sell funeral expense insurance. Milton is a graduate of Arkansas State University, AAS1995, BS2000. He is a member of the Jonesboro Rotary Club, and Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has two sons; Chad & Grant. Milton is the Chief Deputy Coroner for Craighead County and active in the Jonesboro Police Reserve, the Jonesboro SWAT Team and the Craighead County Sheriff's Reserve

Josh Richards

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Josh has been a valued team member at Emerson Funeral Home since 2013 and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He graduated from Vincennes University in 2018 with a degree in Mortuary Science and currently serves his community as a deputy coroner in Craighead County. Along with helping families at Emerson with preneed contracts and insurance options, Josh enjoys spending time with his son, Mason. Together, they share a passion for fitness and video games.

Arizona Sharp

Funeral Director

Arizona is from Harrisburg and a graduate of Harrisburg High School in 2015. He is a 2018 graduate from Arkansas State University with a degree in Mortuary Science. Arizona also attended Williams Baptist College and was a part of the Eagles Baseball Team . He resides in Jonesboro with his wife Jordan, their son Huxton and two dogs, Bama and Cali.In addition to working at the funeral home, Arizona is also a Deputy Coroner in Craighead County.

Jordan Foust

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Jordan is a licensed funeral director/embalmer and has been employed at Emerson Funeral Home since 2017. He came to Emerson Funeral Home following 4 years of being a nurse. He is a 2009 graduate of Nettleton High School and grew up in Jonesboro. He is also a 2023 graduate of the mortuary sciences program at Vincennes University. Jordan and his wife Kristin live in Jonesboro and are members of Lawson Road Church of Christ. In addition to working at the funeral home, Jordan is also a Deputy Coroner in Craighead County.

Norah Dudley

Funeral Director

Norah is a 2013 graduate from Lyon College with degrees in French and anthropology. She later moved to Colorado, where she attended Arapahoe Community College and graduated with a degree in mortuary science. Norah enjoys reading, travelling, camping, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets. She lives in Jonesboro with her husband, John, daughter, Eleanor, and son, Rowan.

Kathy Howerton

Embalmer, Funeral Director

Kathy is a funeral director and one of our lead embalmers. She graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas. Kathy has worked with Emerson Funeral Home since 1993 and has extensive experience in restorative arts. She enjoys reading, grandchildren, and her puppies, Maggie and Kali.

Rick Carter

Funeral Director

Rick has been an employee of Emerson Funeral Home since 1984. He came to Emerson following 8 years with Pancho's Restaurant in Jonesboro. Rick is a graduate of Arkansas State University and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Joneboro where he serves as an elder. He is a member of the University Rotary Club of Jonesboro and is married to Diane Dapp Carter. They live near Goobertown with their 5 dogs and 2 cats. When Rick has any spare time, he enjoys calligraphy, BBQing and puttering with an old Ford Tractor. Rick worked for Emerson Funeral Home for 40 years and retired in April of 2025.
