Billy Cunningham

Billy Cunningham, 78, of Jonesboro, died Monday, July 11, 2016, at his residence of natural causes.

Billy was born in Lavinia, Tennessee, and lived in Bartlett, Tennessee, several years where he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He moved to Jonesboro in 2014. Billy was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a Catholic. He enjoyed golf, Cardinal baseball, Notre Dame football, old cars and yard work. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Soyla Cunningham.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Terry Bunn of Jackson, Tennessee, and Rita Sims of Hughes;
2 step sons: Bruce (Robin) Sarratt of Arlington, Tennessee, and Jimmy (Nikki) Sarratt of Memphis;
5 grandchildren including James Clinton Bunn of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jenny (John) Sims of Jonesboro; and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday at The Rock of Northeast Arkansas with Pastor Terry Watson officiating. Burial will be private.
