Zora A. Boyer

Zora Rose Boyer, age 97, of Paragould, Arkansas, died Saturday evening, January 14, 2006, at her residence. She was born at Mobley, Arkansas on October 25, 1908. She moved to Jonesboro in 1944 and to Paragould in 1963. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Boyer was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Boyer; 1 daughter: Annell Hyde; her parents: Parkey and Tennie James Rose; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include:

1 Son and Daughter-in-law: Jim and June Boyer of Jonesboro;

4 Daughters: Amy Willie, and
Earlene Tisdale, both of Paragould, and
Glenda Boyer, and
June Boyer, both of California;

1 Brother: Pat Rose of Cave City;

1 Sister: Florence Gardner of Ponchatula, Louisiana;

11 Grandchildren,
19 Great Grandchildren, and
1 Great, Great Grandson.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, January 20, 2006, at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Joel McMasters officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Friday from noon until service time at Emerson Funeral Home Chapel.
