Zepha Mae Allen

Zepha Mae Allen, 88, of Jonesboro, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born on January 18, 1936, in Jonesboro to the late Archie and Milie Gregory, Zepha spent much of her adult life in Helena and was a devoted member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Zepha was a talented and creative individual who found joy in sewing, quilting, and painting. Her artistic endeavors reflected her loving and thoughtful nature.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Allen, along with three brothers and two sisters.

Zepha is survived by her son, Al Allen of Hulbert, OK; her granddaughter, Barrett Allen of Hulbert, OK; her niece, Donna (Donnie) House of Jonesboro; her nephew, Dennis (Janet) Gregory of Jonesboro; as well as several other cherished nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 2pm with Brother Mitch Doss officiating.

Active pallbearers include Dennis Gregory, Wade Gregory, Donnie House, and Heath House.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
