Yvonne Johnson

Yvonne Johnson, 65, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center. She was born December 28, 1956 in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Stanford Meredith and Jewell Garrett.

Mrs. Johnson was employed at Parker Hannifin Factory in Trumann, AR for over 30 years. Upon retirement, she worked part-time as a cafeteria worker at Jonesboro Public Schools. She was a member of The Rock Church in Jonesboro.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Johnson Sr.; one brother, Stanford Meredith Sr; and two sisters, Annette Meredith and Beverly Jean Jones.

She is survived by two sons, Clinton Johnson Jr. (Lasondra) and Stanford Johnson Sr. (LaTarsha) all of Jonesboro; one daughter, Latosha Johnson (Ryan Brown) of Jonesboro; one brother, Billy Meredith of Memphis, TN; one sister, Dollyne Meredith of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Kiauana Johnson, Deserray Johnson, Stanford Johnson Jr., DeIsreal Gordon, Kendrick Williams Jr, and Christopher Williams; one great-grandchild, Avayah Jewell Brown; a special niece, Angela Springer; and a host of extended family and lifelong friends.

Friends may visit at Emerson Memorial Chapel, Saturday, January 7, 2023 beginning at 1:00p.m. Memorial service will start at 2:00 p.m.
