Wyvonnie Cambron, 77, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Oklahoma but moved to Jonesboro in 1966 and called it home. She was a member of the Cash Assembly of God Church. She was an avid reader and loved taking care of her family.
She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Danny Cambron, Larry & Fleety Cambron, of Jonesboro, Roger & Barbara Cambron, Bono, James Otis & Christy Cambron, Jonesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Ray Griffin, Jonesboro; brother, Joe Carroll Billings, Daily City, Oklahoma; sister, Loretta Nadine Nance, Big Flat, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend James McCoy Cambron; daughter, Glenda Cambron Lassiter; parents, Verlin Ray Treat and Florence Pearl Demmings Billings; sister, Lola Hattenhauer; and brother, Frank Treat.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Ron Snow and Benny Isom officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be J.R. Griffin, Shaun Cambron, Don Shopher, Jr., Tyler Griffin, Thomas Kingslie, and Michael Hattenhauer.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
