Wyley "Gene" Winters

Wyley “Gene” Winters, 59, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, November 10, 2023.  He was born to Gene Wyley Winters and Landis “Rose” Winters in Albany, Georgia on December 31, 1963. Gene was an intelligent man who was very devoted to his Faith. He had taken several trips in his lifetime searching for answers and visiting the Holy sites that he had only ever read about. Gene was Chief Financial Officer for several hospitals over his working career. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved his family so very much. Gene is preceded in death by his father, Gene Winters.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Cyndee Winters of Jonesboro; son, Eli Winters of Jonesboro; mother, Rose Winters of Lindale, Georgia; and brothers, Jeff Winters (Robin) of Silver Creek, Georgia and Chad Winters (Lee) of Lindale, Georgia. He also leaves behind several other family and friends to mourn his loss.

A graveside service will be held at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023 in the mausoleum.
