Wilma Ilean Anderson, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 3, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Wilma was born on February 6, 1932, in Earl, AR, and was preceded in death by her parents, George and Viola Fisher; husband, Pete Anderson; and son, Fred Anderson.

Wilma is survived by her son, Gary Anderson (Phyllis); her daughters, Sheila Anderson and Brenda Ford (Farrell).

On October 24, 1950, Wilma was married to her soulmate, Richard Anderson, AKA Pete. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were a huge part of her life. Wilma was the second-born child, growing up in a large, beautiful family with 10 siblings: Cecil, George Jr., Jimmy, Barbara, Bill, Janie, Galen, Lesa, Ronnie, and Dennis.

Wilma is most remembered for her consistent, faithful walk and love of Jesus. She loved her children and family fiercely, with an everlasting love. Her legacy inspires us to live the kind of Faith she modeled for us. Though she is absent from the body, her presence will remain forever in our hearts.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Wilma touched are invited to the funeral service at Fellowship Jonesboro Church on April 8, 2026. A visitation will precede the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with the service immediately following. The burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery.
