Willie Mae Wewers

Willie Mae Wewers, 88, of Jonesboro departed this life on Friday March 27, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1926 to the late Alvoid and Katie Morris. She had lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a homemaker and a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Willie Mae love to crochet, read books, gardening and loved her dog Susie. She also made and donated baby afghans to the Mother of Angels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jack (A.W.) Morris and J.B. Morris and one sister; Juanita Sheffield.
Survived by her husband; Thomas (T.C.) Wewers of the home.

Sons: Willie Forrest (Lisa) of Arlington, Virginia, Christopher Wewers (Sandy), Louis Wewers (Paula) and Berry Wewers all of Jonesboro.

Daughters; Linda Kay Arnold (Jimmy) of Williford and Yvonne Cooper (Marco) of Smithville.

9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday March 30, 2015 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Jack Vu officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

A rosary will be said on Sunday evening March 29, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
