Willie Alvin Valdary, Jr.

Willie Alvin Valdary, Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the age of 59. He was a

retired carpenter who resided in Jonesboro, Arkansas, but also a New Orleans, Louisiana native. Willie

was born August 8, 1963. His love for family, cooking, and handy work were the highlights of his life.

He graduated from John McDonough High School, and briefly attended Alcorn University. Willie was a

loving, generous, and trusting man. He was a devoted father and brother. He was preceded in death by

Willie A. Valdary, Sr. (father), Gladys Harris Valdary (mother), Rhonda Lee Robichaux (life partner),

and Dwayne Valdary (brother). Willie leaves behind (3 sons) Loren Robichaux, Brandon Valdary, Sr., Will

Valdary and (6 daughters) Jesseka Robichaux, Erika Robichaux, Valencia Robichaux, Brittany Robichaux,

Tiffany Robichaux, and Rhonda Robichaux. Willie is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Lauren Robichaux,

Lorenz Robichaux, Brandon Valdary, Jr, Bryce Valdary, Kelsei Alexander, Kirk Alexander, Kaleena

Robichaux, Byron Gilmore, Bryson Gilmore, Rowan Cariker, Ava Boyland, Jabriel Robichaux, Joel

Robichaux, and Imani Robichaux. Willie was the loving brother of Kevin Valdary, Debra Valdary, Nicholas

Valdary, Troy Valdary, and Renwick Dumas. He is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Sarah Harris and Mary Valdary.
