William Charles Weld

William Charles Weld, 86, of Bono, passed away Monday September 18, 2023 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born April 7, 1937 in Fisher, Ar. to Roy and Willie Weld. William had called Bono, Arkansas his home for the last 12 years, having relocated from Batesville area.
William was a dedicated Sears repairman for over 50 years, and was able to diagnose an appliance issue by just listening to it. He especially enjoyed his later years working for Pat Stewart in the surrounding area of Batesville.  His passions were farming, live stock, gardening, and yard work.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Weld, and their eldest daughter Donna Tolewitzke. He also joins his brothers, Thomas Weld, Anderson Weld, and Vernon Weld in eternal rest.
He is survived by his daughter, Leah Weld of Bono, son John Weld of Little Rock, as  well as 5 grandchildren, Robert Piercy of Paragould, Nicole Phillips of Jonesboro, Brenton Piercy of San Francisco California, Justin Weld of Springfield, Missouri, Austin Weld of Camden, Arkansas, and several great grandchildren, Addison McLain, Aiden Piercy, Andie Piercy, Ace Piercy, Emmie Piercy, Eli Piercy of Paragould, and Kendall Phillips of Jonesboro.
All services for William will be held privately to honor his memory.
