William "Todd" Gibson

William “Todd” Gibson, 55, of Killen, Alabama passed from this life on September 13, 2020. He was born to Bill and Jane Gibson on August 27, 1965 in Jonesboro. Todd graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1983 and from Arkansas State University in 1988 with a BS in Marketing Management & Minor in Transportation. After Todd graduated from College, he married his high school sweetheart, Beth Chambers, on July 23, 1988. Todd worked for K-Mart in Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Alabama for 29 years. For the last few years, he worked for Northern Tool and Equipment in Alabama. In Todd’s free time he enjoyed fishing, playing sports, and being a mentor to the youth in his community. Todd’s family was extremely important to him and they will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane Gibson of Jonesboro; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. W.D. Gibson of Jonesboro and Mr. & Mrs. Fred Killough of Biggers, Arkansas.

Todd is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Beth Gibson of Killen, Alabama; son, Hunter Gibson of Killen, Alabama; daughter, Haley Lee (Brett) of Jefferson, Georgia; father, Bill Gibson, of Jonesboro; two sisters, Debbie Cardin (Ross) of Heber Springs and Panda Spurgin (Randy) of Berryville, Arkansas. William also leaves behind a host of other family and friends.

The visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home with Jeff Stotts officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
