William (Rusty) Floyd Tippitt Jr.

William (Rusty) Floyd Tippitt Jr., 52, of Dyess, Arkansas died Tuesday July 28, 2009 at his residence.

He was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and had lived in Dyess for one and half years, moving there from Jonesboro.

He was a truck driver for Lambert Mobile Home in Jonesboro and of the Baptist belief. He was preceded in death by his father, William Floyd Tippitt Sr., one sister Collette Adams, step father L.C. Lindley, Fiancé and lifelong companion, Sue Matthews. Rusty will be dearly missed by all.

Survived by two sons; B.J. Tippitt and Jason Tippitt, both of Jonesboro.

One daughter; Tara Tippitt of Jonesboro.

Mother; Dorothy Lindley of Dyess.

One brother; Steve Tippitt of Jonesboro.

Two step brothers; Brad Lindley and Rickey Lindley both of Tyronza.

One sister Susan Davis of Jonesboro.

Many nieces and nephews.

Three grandsons and one granddaughter.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday July 31, 2009 at Pine Hill Cemetery, with Candace Lehman doing the eulogy, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be held Friday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Lee Crawford, Larry Tippitt, Shannon Tippitt, Jason Tippitt, Nick Richard, B.J. Tippitt and Jeff McCorkle.
