William John Mccann

William John McCann, 88, of Jonesboro, formally of Waukegan and Gurnee Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at his home in Jonesboro.  William was born on December 1, 1932 to the late, William Joseph and Madolyn G. McCann.  William married the love of his life, Doris Kay McCann.  He retired from Local 130 Plumbers Union in 1992.  After retirement, William and Doris split the time between their homes in Florida and Arkansas.  William was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; his parents, and his in-laws, Charles and Doris Macier.

Survivors include his daughters, Janet (Len) Stern of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin; Gena  (Ken) Caffoe of Pikeville, North Carolina; son, Lyell (Luz) McCann of Jonesboro; sister, Joan (Mike) Mikich of Libertyville, Illinois; grandchildren, Blake (Amanda) Pavelich, Brenden (Courtney) Caffoe; Justina Sterna and Josef McCann; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
