William Jennings, 60, of Jonesboro passed from this life of December 6, 2014 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on January 9, 1954 in Pocahontas to the late James and Syble Jennings. William has lived in northeast Arkansas his entire life and is of the Baptist belief. He loved his family, hunting, and antique cars. William is preceded in death by his parents: James and Syble Jennings and one sister: Alva Jane Henry.
William is survived by his loving wife of 29 years: Elizabeth Jennings of the home. Sons: Bobby Jennings and Keith House both of Jonesboro; Daughters: Amie Starks of Walls, Mississippi and Courtney Neece of Jonesboro; Brothers: Norman Jennings of Jonesboro, Paul Jennings of Needham, and Bill Jennings of Jonesboro; Sisters: Charlene Griffin of Jonesboro and Betty Simpson of Jonesboro. William also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on December 9, 2014 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in the mausoleum with Bro. Curtis Shatley officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The active pallbearers will be Kevin Neece, John Griffin, Shane McIntosh, Greg Jennings, and Terrell Jennings.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.
