William J. Baker

William J. Baker 66, of Jonesboro died Wednesday March 26, 2008 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born in Jonesboro and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a general labor for Riceland Foods in Jonesboro and of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jewell Baker and Alice Hensley Baker, one son Joey Baker two sisters and one brother.

Survived by his wife Opal Baker of the home.

One son; Robert Baker of Paragould.

Two daughters; Angela Ogles and her husband Herbert of Jonesboro.
Beverly Jackson and her husband David of Bono.

One sister; Bernice Johnson of Paragould.

Five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 29, 2008 at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev.Martin Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be Friday March 28, 2008 from 5-7:00 P.M. at Emerson funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Ogles, David Jackson, Kevin Golden, Danny Laws, Jimmy Turner and Willie Jordan
