William Edward Pharis

William Edward “Will Ed” Pharis, 79, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center. We was born in Jonesboro, and moved back to Jonesboro in 2001, coming from Sacramento, California. He served in the US Navy two terms during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by sisters Margaret Sue Mooney from Lonoke and Hester Ann Boley, of Bossier City Louisiana. He is also survived by his many friends including Suzanne Wilson and the Staff and residents of Ridgecrest Nursing Center. Their kindness, love and support have been above and beyond.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Friday, December 15, 2006 at Oaklawn Cemetery with friends from Ridgecrest serving as Eulogist. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
