William Walter Davidson, 79, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Friday, October 2, 2020. He was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on July 21, 1941 to James Preston Davidson and Frankie Davidson.
He graduated from Harrisonville High School in Harrisonville, Missouri. He believed in service and took it upon himself to enlist in the Navy in 1964 dedicating 6 years of service. After his service in the Navy he attended Harding University where he met the love of his life, Dorothy who would be his future wife. He went on to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he achieved his Bachelor of Arts. After achieving his Bachelor Degree he went on to do service in the Army National Guard as a reserve.
Always known as “Bill” to those who knew and loved him. Bill had found a love for trains, Planes, and boats using that love towards recreating his ideas through models. He had an overwhelming strong sense of family in the belief that family always came first.
William is preceded in death by his parents, James and Frankie Davidson and his brother James Davidson Jr.
William is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 51 years, two daughters, Denise Reed and Sherrie Roberson; son, John Davidson; grandsons, Justin, Caleb, Brayden Reed, and Clayton Davidson; granddaughters, Jennifer Gann, Jacquelyn Arnold, Alexandra Anderson, and Madelyn Davidson; great grandson, Tyler Brame; and brother, Frank Davidson.
