William Howard Brooks

William Howard Brooks, 64, of Paragould, passed away Monday September 10, at his home. He was born in Aurora, Illinois, January 21, 1948.He was a retired electrician and he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He loved the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Clubs and was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Edward Brooks, Eugenia and (Step Father), Edward Furr, one brother, Bernard Edward Brooks Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Janet Dell Brooks of the home.

Sons, Jeff (Leslie) Brooks of Peru, Illinois and Brian Brooks of Paragould.

Daughters, Terri (Chris) Simmons, Marianne (Brooks) Montgomery, Amie Brooks and Jessica (Michael) Rogers all of Paragould.

Brother, Eugene Brooks of Texas.

Sisters, Patricia Choat of Texas and Linda Brooks Brown of Alabama.

18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be announced at a later date with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be no visitation.

Go rest high on that mountain, and play it sweet in Heaven.
