William A. Goodpasture

William Alexander Goodpasture, 47, of Ashburn, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at his home of natural causes.

Born in Conway, Arkansas, William lived several years in Jonesboro and was a 1983 graduate of Jonesboro High School. He was an accountant and has lived in Maryland and Virginia for the past 26 years.

William was a protestant and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Goodpasture, his father, Billy Goodpasture, and by 2 sisters: Debbie Goodpasture Ethridge and Rebecca “Becky” Goodpasture Cline.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Goodpasture of Jonesboro;

1 brother, John Goodpasture of Maumelle, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery near Bono.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
