Will “Gaylon” House, 82, of Ashland City, Tennessee passed from this life January 4, 2016 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City. He was born to George and Leeannah (Woodard) House June 16, 1933 in Grubbs, AR.
Gaylon spent the last three years residing in Ashland City, TN. Prior to that he resided in Jonesboro where he was a long standing member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Gaylon was preceded in death by his son: Gerald Edward House.
Gaylon is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Clara (Simons) House; one son: William (Lisa) House of Jonesboro; two daughters: Susan (Terry) Wooten of Ashland City and Cynthia Jones of Memphis; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Pine Log Cemetery with Robbie McMasters officiating.
Active pallbearers will be T. Scott Wooten, Gaylon Jones, Matthew Jones, David White, Andy White, and Ronald (RJ) Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jarrod Brown and Christopher Knight.
The family kindly requests no flowers.
