Will G. Earnhart

Will G. Earnhart, 81, of Jonesboro died Thursday August 6, 2009 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

He was born and lived in Jonesboro his entire life and was a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church. He was a retired Press Supervisor for the Jonesboro Sun for over forty years and was an Air Force Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ewell and Nora Arnold Earnhart, four brothers Harry, Fredrick, Howard and Ernest Earnhart and one sister, Alma Kibbons.

Survived by his wife Thelma Earnhart of the home.

One son Larry Earnhart and wife Tammy of Jonesboro.

One daughter, Priscilla Earnhart of Jonesboro.

One grandchild Tracy Griffin and husband Tony and three great grandchildren, Addison, Will and Lainey Griffin.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday August 9, 2009 at Oaklawn Cemetery, with Dr. Johnny Hutchison and Rev. Tony Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Saturday August 8, 2009 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Honorary pallbearers will be Freddie Foreman, Charles Gibson, Members of Highland Drive Sunday School Class, Andy Griffin, His co- workers of Jonesboro Sun, Edward Prestidge, Calvin Prestidge, Bill Fletcher, Vance Kibbons, Leon Smith, Harrell Mays and E.J. Bhurmaster.
