Whitney Blake Rogers

April 10, 1995 — March 31, 2012

Whitney Blake Rogers, 16, of Bono, died Saturday night. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived her life in this area. Whitney was a member of Central Baptist Church. She played clarinet in the Westside High School band, a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and was a junior at WHS. Whitney loved to cook, take trips with family and friends to Lake Norfork and was an avid Razorback, Cardinal and Dallas Cowboy fan.

Survivors include her mother, Sandy Rogers, of the Home; father, Paul Rogers; brother, J.P. Rogers; sister Lauren Wall all of Jonesboro; paternal grandmother, Virginia Rogers; maternal grandparents Robert and Jo Ann Douglas; maternal great grandparents Herbert and Louise Whittingham all of Jonesboro; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Gary Cremeens officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery with the Westside Band Boosters Dads consisting of Kevin Widick, Greg George, Alan Oldman, Alan Armstrong, Nathan Bratten and Micah Glover serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Westside Warrior Band and the class of 2013. Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
