Wenith H. Storey

Wenith H. Storey, 84, of Jonesboro died Wednesday at NEA Baptist Medical Center. He had lived here for 40 years, moving here from Indio, California. Wenith was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ. He was also active in the VFW and the American Legion. Wenith was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tommy Storey and three brothers,Balfour Storey; Von Storey; and Warren Storey.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eula Storey, of the home; son, Jack Storey and wife Patty of Lawrenceville, Georgia; brothers, Lyndell Storey of Batesville, Arkansas and James Storey of Mountain View; sister, Wanda Kelly of Parker, Colorado; grandchildren, Jennifer Storey Dewitt and husband Ben; Kristin Storey; Taylor Storey and great grandchild, Jackson Dewitt.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday at Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas with Jimmy Young officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at the Case East Richwoods Cemetery near Mountain View with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Chapel, Gary Gibbs and Leo Sutterfield Jr. Visitation will be from 5-7 Thursday night at Emerson Funeral Home and from 1-2 on Friday at Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View.
