Weldon Sandberg

Weldon Sandberg, 62, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Friday afternoon at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Houston, Texas, Weldon grew up in Austin, Texas. He lived in Harlingen, Texas before moving to Jonesboro in 1999.

He worked 35 years in Restaurant Management and was currently employed by Osmar Corporation. Weldon was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam, and was preceded in death by his parents: Douglas and Mildredge Sandberg.

Survivors include:
His wife: Diane Sandberg of the home;

1 Sister: Penni Caughey of Houston, Texas;

4 nephews, and
2 nieces.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 6:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro.
