Wayne Collins

Wayne Collins, 54, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky but had lived most of his life in Jonesboro. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Segrid Roberson Collins of the home; his mother and second dad, Joan & Bill Coleman; brother, Tom Collins; sister and brother-in-law, Angie & Ronnie Foster; nieces and nephews, Josh Foster, Justin Collins, Ryan and Brandon Roberson, Amy Reeves, Ashlee Foster; great nephew, Drake Collins; his father-in-law, Joe Roberson; his favorite uncle, Doug & Ida Lashlee; uncles and aunts, Wes & Deb McBroome, Sue & Larry Turney; J.G. & Joy Lashlee; brothers and sister-in-law, Tim & Christina Roberson, Eric Roberson, Mark Roberson; and many cousins and family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, SSgt. Bob Collins; and his grandparents, Mr.& Mrs. Grover Lashlee.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Freewill Baptist Church with Ken Winningham, Dave Burgess, and Dale Blackwell officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
