Waymond Steve Cox

Waymond Steve Cox, 80, of Paragould, passed away on February 9, 2025, at his home. He was born in Bay on December 6, 1944, to the late Ishmael and Elsie Cox. In addition to his parents, Waymond is preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Cox, second wife, Juanita Cox, and third wife, Mary Cox; sisters, Linda Touchstone and Peggy Shaw; brothers, JD Cox and Larry Cox; and nephews, John Oliver Henry and Larry Cox Jr.

Waymond grew up and lived in Northeast Arkansas. He was a humble man who enjoyed life's simple pleasures. Throughout his life, Waymond loved to fish, especially with his second wife, Juanita. Always the tinkerer, Waymond loved messing with cars. He was always fixing up cars and trading them. Most importantly, Waymond enjoyed spending time with his church family.

Waymond is survived by his brothers Danny and Wickey Cox; sisters Carolyn Henry and Joyce Darling; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Pine Log Cemetery.
