Waymon R. Lunsford

Waymon R. Lunsford, 73, of Jonesboro died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at his home. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1965, moving here from Corning, Arkansas. He was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church and worked at Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. for 26 years before retiring. Waymon was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Art Lunsford, brothers, Ernie Lunsford and Stacy Lunsford.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Lunsford, of the home; sons, Jeff Lunsford and wife, Christy; Thomas Lunsford and wife Claudia; daughter, Barbara Holt, all of Jonesboro; sisters, Wilma Taylor, Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Debbie McCellan, and Rita Miller, both of Corning; grandchildren, Ariel, Crae, Emily, Olivia, Lance and Trae; and great grandchildren, Tanner and Zane.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Eugene Merrill officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, at Emerson Funeral Home.
