Warren Powers

Warren Powers, 81, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Saturday evening, August 5, 2006, in NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Dell, Arkansas, Warren lived in Blytheville and Mississippi before moving to Jonesboro in 1994. Warren was a U.S. Marines veteran of W.W. II, and a retired salesman. He sold farm equipment, construction equipment and automobiles. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

3 Sons: Stephen Powers of Shreveport, Louisiana,
Bradford Powers of Kilgore, Texas, and
Gary Powers of Kingsville, Texas;

3 Daughters: Shirley Powers of Corpus Christi, Texas,
Leslie Hicks of Natchez, Mississippi, and
Allex Reddin of Corona Del Mar, California;

1 Brother: Benny Powers of Searcy;

9 Grandchildren, and
5 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence, Mississippi with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
