Warren Lee Lamberth, 78, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, August 6, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House following a brief illness.
Warren was a native and life-long resident of Jonesboro. He was a 1958 graduate of Nettleton High School and married Sue Robertson on February 2, 1962. For several years Warren worked with his brother J.A. Lamberth as they operated Lamberth Auto Salvage and Wrecker Service in Jonesboro. Following the Salvage and Wrecker business, Warren owned and operated Lamberth Auto Sales for many years in Jonesboro before retiring last year. Retirement was short-lived and Warren began working for Sam's Club of Jonesboro where he worked until the last of July.
Warren attended Family Fellowship Baptist Church for many years where he was a member of the Senior Adult Men's Sunday School Class. He had few hobbies but dearly loved working on, buying, selling and trading cars. Warren was preceded in death by his parents: Armour and Maggie Watkins Lamberth; son Lynn Lee Lamberth; and two brothers: J.A. Lamberth and Roger Wayne Lamberth.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sue Robertson Lamberth of the home;
1 daughter and son-in-law: Misty and Tim Rigsbee of Bentonville;
2 brothers: Tim and Larry Don Lamberth, both of Jonesboro;
8 sisters: Lynette Stotts, Brenda King and Nina Hedger, all of Jonesboro, Janette Wildes of Sacramento, California, Kathy Fletecher of Cabot, Sheri Hallmark of Pocahontas, Regina Lancaster of Little Rock, and Teri Jo Woods of Fayetteville; and 2 granddaughters: Reagan Rigsbee and Piper Rigsbee, both of Bentonville.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Michael Blackwood officiating. Burial will be in Herman Cemetery. Active pallbearers include Darren Cullison, Derrick Cullison, Chris Hedger, Dustin Hedger, Randy King, Danny King, Jared Fletcher and Michael Hallmark. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Senior Adult Mens Sunday Class of Family Fellowship Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday in Emerson Chapel preceding the funeral service.
