Warren (Butch) Irwin I, 62, of Jonesboro died Wednesday December 24, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Hospital. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 9, 1952 to the late James and Ida Mae Irwin Sr.
Warren had lived in Jonesboro since 1991, moving here from Joliet, Illinois.
Beloved husband, father, and mentor to friends and family. Warren was a machinist, mechanic, entrepreneur and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Dollie Cappuzzo.
Survived by his wife of 39 years; Terry Irwin of the home.
Son; Captain John Irwin, USMC, and wife Shannon Irwin of Quantico, Virginia.
Daughters; Misty Irwin of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jamie Irwin of Paragould, Arkansas.
Brother; Jimmy Irwin of Jonesboro.
7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. on Monday December 29, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Church of Nazarene, 406 Creath Street. Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
