Warren "Doby" Gray

Warren “Doby” Gray, 85, of Jonesboro passed from this life on January 8, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Place. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on August 19, 1930 to the late James Millard and Sylvia Beatrice Wood Gray. He was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro and was the Owner/Operator of ME Carter in Jonesboro. Doby was a founding, charter member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son; Steven Warren Gray, Brothers; Dental Gray and Johnny Gray, step-son; Steven Knight and his first wife; Freda Dunivan Gray.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years; Billie Gray of the home.

Daughter in- law; Donna Knight of Paragould.

Brother; Tom Gray of Jonesboro.

Grandchild; Matthew Steven Gray and 2 step-grandchildren; Blake and Braden Knight.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday January 12, 2016 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Sigman officiating. Burial will be at Keller’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial be made to the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2201 S. Culberhouse Street Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
