Wanda Fay Whitlow

Wanda Fay Whitlow, 82, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on July 9, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on July 5, 1940 in Jonesboro to the late Eva and Lee McEntire. Wanda was a member of Valley View Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling and bowling in her younger days. Most importantly, she had a deep love for her family. Her sister was her best friend.  Although she didn’t have kids of her own, Wanda’s niece, nephews, great nieces and nephew, and great-great-nephews were her world. She was always the happiest when surrounded by her family.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Lee McEntire, and her brother C.L. McEntire.

Wanda is survived by her sister, Ora Mae Tibbs; niece and nephews Jerry Tibbs Jr. (Tara Tibbs), Heath Tibbs (Brooke Tibbs), Heather Clark, and Tim McEntire; her great nieces and nephew, Ashley Grace (Jesse Grace), Allison Tibbs, Rebecca Tibbs, Landrie Tibbs, London Tibbs, and Caden Clark; and great-great-nephews, Grayson Grace and Carter Campbell.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Pine Log Cemetery. A visitation will precede the service from 10am to 11am at Emerson Funeral Home.
