Wanda L. Smith

Wanda L. Smith, 83, of Cherokee Village, formerly of Jonesboro, died June 4, 2012 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Born in Bay, she had lived in the Jonesboro area most of her life. She was a retired office manager at Angelo Manufacturing in Jonesboro. She loved to collect turquoise and Indian jewelry and enjoyed anything about the western United States.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Candace Wells) Walker of New Braunfels, Texas, and Seena Walker of Cherokee Village. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sue Exler, Plano, Texas and Kathryn Elrod of Jonesboro and 4 grand dogs and one grand cat that she loved dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
