Wanda Lee Ruff

March 16, 1934 — February 11, 2021

Wanda Ruff, 86, of Jonesboro, was called to her Heavenly home on February 11, 2021.  She was born on March 16, 1934 in Ash Flat, Arkansas, to the late John M. and Mable M. (Exum) Gilbreath. Wanda retired from Arkansas State University.  Her greatest pleasures were doing anything for her family, watching whatever team, Tom Brady played on, and knowing she would to go Heaven when her work was done.  She was a member of the Nettleton Community Church.  Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronnie Gene Thomas, a daughter, Joni Gail Thomas Hall, her brothers, Roy and J.L. Gilbreath and a sister, Johnie Fay Kisor.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Bobby G. Ruff, of the home; sons, J.R. “Rick”
Thomas (Mitzi), Scott Ruff (Kelly) of Jonesboro; Greg Ruff of Little Rock; sister, Glenda Sheppard (Jack) of Sonoma, California. 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
