Wanda "Maudie" Craig-Romine

Wanda Craig-Romine “Maudie”, 79, of Jonesboro formally of Ukiah, California passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Saint Bernards Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1942 in Broken Bow Oklahoma to the Late Charles and Francis Hollingsworth. Wanda enjoyed fishing, bird watching and growing flowers. She looked so forward to family gatherings, playing cards and dominoes whenever she could. Wanda enjoyed cooking for everyone around her and always made sure they had plenty to eat. She had such a giving heart and cared for everyone always willing to take anyone in whenever needed. Her legacy was always reminding us all how important family was and always striving to bring us all together just like the family she grew up in. Family was everything to her, the way that she would light up whenever her grandchildren were around was like no other.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Craig Sr.; 2nd husband, Harmon Romine and her nine brothers and sisters: JC, Sherman, Melvin, Eugene, Beth, Velma, Lily Bell, Betty, Mary.

Survivors include her two sons, Wade (Cindy) Craig, Ben Craig Jr.; 3 daughters, Vonda (Daniel) Mendoza Sr., Karla Rose, Debbie Romine; 6 grandchildren: Tonya (Dan) Howe, Daniel (Silvia) Mendoza, Teresa Mendoza, Charles Craig, Robert (Madison) Craig, Janis Kight; 14 great grandchildren: Ashley (Kimberly) Warren-Howe, Jake (Sheena) Howe, Alex (Shellie) Casillas, Christopher Casillas, Celeste Mendoza, Darian Mendoza, Jose Buenrostro, Lupita Buenrostro, Isiah Buenrostro, Jon Reed, Chelsey Reed; 7 great-great grandchildren: Damon Bryant, Tyler Bryant, Peyton Bryant, Mahealani Casillas, Analeah Casillas, Damen Reed, Sarai Reed and Numerous other bonus grandchildren that all called her Maudie including the Gaston family, Stephenson family, Barrett family, Piver family, Naranjo family, Buenrostro family and Ramirez family.
