Wanda Lee, 84, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Cave City, Wanda moved to Trumann in the early 1950s and later moved to Jonesboro where she lived most of her life. She was retired from Frolic Footwear where she worked many years. Wanda was a member of the Baptist church and enjoyed watching television and visiting with her neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tolly and Myrtle Crutcher Burge, and by her husband, Leonard Lee.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law: Charles and Retha Burge of Jonesboro;
a step son, Rodney Lee of Mountain Home;
3 step daughters: Joyce Vickers of Paragould, Denise Lee of Walnut Ridge and Sherry McFarland of Lafe.
2 nephews: Rick Burge (Kathryn) of Rockwall, Texas and Scott Burge (Chris) of Dallas, Texas; and several step grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Emerson Memorial Chapel. A Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Emerson Chapel with Rick Burge officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Dennis Williams, Cliff Lee, Mike Vickers, John Donnell, Rodney Lee, Tyler Lee and James Attaway.
