Wanda Lee Hinson McCrackin, 72, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, in St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Born near Leachville, Wanda moved to the Jonesboro area in 1957. She was a retired Teachers Aide with Jonesboro Public Schools and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Troy and Jesteene Chrisman Hinson, and by 2 brothers, Lavon and Dewayne Hinson.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Charles McCrackin of the home;
1 daughter and son-in-law: Stephanie and Jeff Preston of Bono;
1 son, Tony McCrackin of Dallas, Texas;
1 sister and her husband, Brenda and Cecil Gulley of Jonesboro;
2 brothers and their wives: Mike and Cindy Hinson of Jonesboro, and Rick and Susan Hinson of Jackson, Tennessee;
5 grandchildren: Amber McCrackin, Aaron McCrackin, Ashley Bridges, Zac Preston and Cody Preston,
1 great granddaughter, Jayden Bridges.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 4-7 at Emerson Funeral Home.
