Wanda Mae Keller Sellers

Wanda Mae Keller Sellers, 86, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born to the late Homer and Ila Pearl Sitz on January 18, 1935 in Hardy, Arkansas. After being born and raised in Hardy where she was crowned Miss Hardy in 1953. Wanda resided most of her life in Weiner as farm wife, then moved to Mammoth Springs in 2004 and has lived there until moving to Jonesboro within the last year. Wanda was a longtime member of the Otwell Christian Church and served as treasurer of the Christian Women’s Fellowship for over 20 years.

Wanda was an avid walker. She made the best porcupine meatballs and milkshakes. Most of all, Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Sitz and her previous husband, Hoyt Keller.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 17 years, Harold Sellers, of the home; two sons, Aaron (Ginger) Keller of Jonesboro and John (Marylin) Keller of Weiner; brother, Fred L. Sitz of Jonesboro; sister, Norma Jean Donahoe of Hardy; five grandchildren, Hillary (Bryan) Creech, Ty (Jenny) Keller, Courtney (Cory) Shackelford, Kelsey (Ashley) Keller, and Trent (Lindsey) Keller all of Jonesboro; and nine great grandchildren, Ganon, Molly, Jagger, Layla, Konner, Luke, Marshall, Kennon, and Stella.

A visitation will be from 10 -11 am Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 11:30 am Saturday, July 3, 2021 at McDaniel Cemetery with Ty Keller officiating. The active pallbearers will be Ty Keller, Trent Keller, Kelsey Keller, Chad Puckett, Rick Sitz, and Bruce Sitz. Honorary pallbearers will be the Christian Women’s Fellowship of Otwell Christian Church.
