Wanda Yopp Harbi

Wanda Yopp Harbi, 71, of Jonesboro died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro for 30 years moving here from Paragould. Wanda was of the Church of Christ belief. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in Luxora for 23 years. She loved her students and made an impact on their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Wally Harbi, of the home; son, John Eaton of Jonesboro; daughter, Kelly Roy (Kaushick) of Osceola, Indiana; brother, Robert Marion Horton of Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren, Aaron Kyle Norton; Jacob Wayne Eaton; Sarah Lee Budiman; Jay Rajeev Roy and Shania Priyanka Roy.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Robb Robinson and Dez` Jones officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with former students serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-7 Tuesday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
