Wanda Chadwick Bulla

Wanda Chadwick Bulla, 90, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, July 31, 2015 at Lakeside Nursing Home. She was born December 30, 1924 in Light to the late Joseph and Bessie Atchison. Wanda was a member of the Otwell Christian Church. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and flowers. Wanda worked at Frolic Footwear for years, before owning and working at Chadwick’s Grocery store in Otwell for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands: Charles Chadwick and Eugene Bulla; one brother, J.D. Atchison and one sister, Oma Ayers.

Survivors include one son, Wayne (Pauline) Chadwick of Jonesboro, two daughters: Debbie (Herb) Granger of Brookland and Brenda Tyler of Jonesboro; six grandchildren: Justin (Holly) Milam, Cassie (Eric) Moore, Bryan (Amanda) Tyler, Kevin (Susan) Chadwick, Mitzi (Rick) Thomas and Amanda (Nathan) Ferguson all of Jonesboro; eight great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and a niece Shirley Faulkner.


Graveside service will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:30 pm in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Mitch Ford officiating. Active Pallbearers will include grandsons and great grandsons.

Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00-2:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
