Wanda Lee Campbell

June 7, 1934 — November 27, 2024

Wanda Lee Campbell, 90, of Jonesboro went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Craighead County Nursing Home. She was born June 7, 1934 in Jonesboro to the late Glen and Eva Payton.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Wanda was a member of the original Trinity Church in Jonesboro. She worked at Service Pharmacy for 25 years before retiring. She loved to work in the yard and cook for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2-month-old son Brady Lynn, four sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by; her loving husband of 72 years, Brady Campbell; one daughter, Debbie Liles and husband Danny; one son, Blake Campbell and wife Susan all of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; one brother, Jerry Payton and wife Pat; and many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends who mourn her passing.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 2, 2024  starting at 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include; David Liles, Bryan Campbell, Steven Campbell, Daylon Hewitt, Jackson Liles, and EJ Reddick.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Craighead County Nursing Home and the Elite Hospice nurses for the wonderful care given to our Mom.
