Walter Weisbrod Jr.

Walter Weisbrod Jr., 87, of Poplar Bluff passed from this life on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Bernards Hospital with his family by his side. He was born to the late Walter Sr. and Theola Weisbrod on January 8, 1931 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Walter was a mechanic for many years in Poplar Bluff, working for Bluff City Motors before going into business for himself. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed fishing and spending time on the Black River. In addition to his parents, Walter is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Weisbrod; and brothers, Ted Weisbrod and Charles Weisbrod.

Walter is survived by his daughter Beth Weisbrod of Brookland; and sisters, Wilma Combs of Omaha, Nebraska and Ester Bucher of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Doniphan, Missouri with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
