Walter Ray Stone

Walter Ray Stone, 86, of Paragould, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at the Robinson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Little Rock.  He was cost estimator in the construction industry.  One of his hobbies was building furniture for family and friends.  He was also an avid coin collector.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Ellen Stone; sister, Ramona Sparks; and brother, Charles Stone.

Survivors include his daughter, Sylvia Strawbridge of New Braunfels, Texas; son; Michael Stone and wife Rita of Little Rock; grandchildren, Matthew Strawbridge, Kelli Howard (Kenny) and Jason Stone (Nicole); and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2020 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Marvin Barham officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  All other services will be private.
