Walter Meurer

Walter Meurer, 58 of Deer, Arkansas died Tuesday at the Baptist Heath Center in Little Rock. Born in Jonesboro he lived in Deer for the past 12 years. He was a member of the Church of Karst and loved caving.

Walter is preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Meurer.

Survivors include his wife, Christine of the home; 2 daughters, Charity Malott and Jennifer Bowman of Jonesboro; parents, Jack and Veta Meurer of Bono; and 2 brothers, Paul Meurer of Osceola and Roger Meurer of Scotch Plains, New Jersey and 3 grandchildren.

Service will be Sunday, June 24 at 2:00 PM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Billy Bonner officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until service time. Burial will be private.
