Walter Lee Holland, 75, of Jonesboro died Saturday July 3, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Ravenden, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro most of his life. He was a retired orderly for St. Bernard’s. He loved to fish, hunt,and make a garden, but most of all he loved his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Clarence Holland and Alice Lee Vardell Holland, and 1 sister; Juanita Smith.
Walter leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years; Marion Holland of the home.
One son; Randy Holland of Jonesboro.
One daughter Bonita Watlington and her husband Ronald of Bono.
Four brothers; Charles Holland of Forrest City, Amos Holland of Ravenden, Jettie Holland of Pocahontas and Leonard Holland of Colt, Arkansas. One sister; Pearl Holland.
5 grandchildren; Blake Smith, Amanda Speaks, Hunter Holland, Jasmine Watlington, Dustin Watlington.
Four great grandchildren; Skylar Smith, Breanna Speaks, Jason Speaks and McKenzie Moreno.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Dale Cemetery near Ravenden, Arkansas with Greg Hogg officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers will be Blake Smith, Ronald Watlington, Hunter Holland, Jackie Morris, Kevin Holland and Jim Anderson.
Visitation will be from 11:30 till 12:30 P.M. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
