Walter “Wally” Davis, 69, of Kennett, Missouri passed from this life Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born January 27, 1947 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to the late George and Julia Lally Davis. Wally was a member of the Marine Corps and he later served as Commandant for the Marine Corps league in Kennett. Wally worked for Parker Hannifin Manufacturing for 35 years. He loved Golf, Baseball, NASCAR and going on cruises with his wife and family. Wally was a Boy Scout leader and was a long time member of the Kennett Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Wally was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Hall.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Kathy Williams Davis of the Home; 2 sons, Danial (Judith) Davis of Dorsey, Mississippi, Scott Davis of Jonesboro; daughter, Deanna (Randy) Barymon of Bono; 3 brothers, George Davis of Walpole, Massachusetts, James (Karen) Davis of Peabody, Massachusetts, Robert William (Sandy) Davis of Trowbridge, England; 3 grandchildren, Cameron Johann, Zachary Davis, Grayson Barymon and many other family and friends.

Graveside service will be private.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
