Wadell Sanders Jr.

Wadell Sanders, 73, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born to the late Wadell Sanders Sr.  and Sammie Lee Dennis (Poole). on July 13, 1947 in Jonesboro.

Wadell resided the majority of his life in Jonesboro after spending a brief time in Los Angeles, California. He is of the Jehovah witness belief. Wadell love d singing and dancing. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and reading. Most of all Wadell enjoyed spending time with his family. Wadell was United States Army veteran and was proud to have served his country.

In addition to his parents, Wadell is preceded in death by his two brothers, Gene Poole and Jessie Poole.

Wadell is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jerlean Sanders, of the home; son, Myron Sanders of Flint, MI; three daughters, Patricia Weathers of Jonesboro, Kelly Sanders Taylor of San Bernardino, CA, and Janell Clark Sanders Nelson of Jonesboro; sister, Sandra Poole Mayfield of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Andray Gordon Jr., Kamiesha Haggens, Neiman Smith, Quinton Whitney, Brian , Brianna, Marquis, Latrell, Bacari , Quaisia Nelson, Nykovi, Amir , Courtney , Aniya ; and a host of great grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
