Vonda Lee Eidson

Vonda Lee Eidson, 71, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, and one great granddaughter, her parents, Virgil and Elizzabetha Eidson; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Cathy Holt and husband, Donald; Cheryl Foerster and husband George; Genia Walker and husband, Phillip; all of Jonesboro; Vicky Burleson, Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; son-in-law, Duane Burleson, Jonesboro; daughters, Brenda Puckett, and husband, Todd; Tammy Carter and husband Dewon; Misty Philpot and husband Aldon, all of Jonesboro; step-daughter, Tina Gann and husband, Perry, Cave City, Arkansas; brothers, Johnny Eidson and wife Gina, Hot Springs, Arkansas; Garry Eidson, and wife Kathy, Harrisburg, Arkansas; sister, Sharrion Walker, and husband, Kenneth, Payneway, Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael Wise, Randy Mitchell, Ashley Tallent, Dusty Carter, Kristie Carter, Anna Carter, Tamera Puckett, Brandy Puckett, Susan Burleson, David Burleson, Jonathan Richardson, and Samantha Neece; step-grandchildren, Derrick Gann and Brittney Gann; great grand-children, Chloe Wise, Katelynn Mitchell, Courtney Mitchell, and Carlee Burleson; step-great grandchildren Lawson Gann and Lynlee Gann.


Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Harliss Banks officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Michael Wise, Randy Mitchell, David Burleson, Dusty Carter, John Eidson, Jr., and Brian Eidson and burial will be in Nettleton Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Conrad, Ron Guthrie, Bill Rooker, and Jim Hawkins.
