Vivian J. Skaug, 85, of Jonesboro, died Friday, March 19, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She had lived in Jonesboro for the past three years moving here from Fayetteville. She was born February 17, 1936, to Elmer and Dollie Roberts. She was of the Methodist belief and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jonesboro. Vivian was a devoted wife to her husband and family. She and her husband, Andrew, partnered in many business adventures together and she served as his bookkeeper. She was known for her dessert skills, especially around the holidays. They loved to travel and see the country. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Skaug; parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandchild.
Survivors include her son, Drs. Warren and Phyllis Skaug of Jonesboro; daughters, Deborah McCutcheon and husband Jack of Fayetteville; Karla Alexander and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, Virginia; six grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
